I don't think the serial number gives a result that lets you know exactly when and which batch had fixed the issue.

I don't think the serial number gives a result that lets you know exactly when and which batch had fixed the issue.
No, but it will let you know the year and week the machine was built, so that should tell you if it's in the covered period.
