GPUs with AUX Power Supply (cMP 2010)

Did you test the titans with Windows Benchmark?

So based on the great info in this thread, I upgraded my 2006 Mac Pro with some flashed AMD 7950s and the ePower aux supply.

It is too bad the quality control on the ePower is poor as mine arrived with a busted fan(the fins were in many, many pieces.) I only realized one the fans was broken when I had to remove the top cover of the ePower to remove the metal shroud in front of the unit which made mounting in the Mac Pro nearly impossible. The metal shroud sticks out too far and will hit the Mac Pro's cd-rom door. (The metal shroud is for a PC installation so people don't stick their fingers in the fans.) I bought a new 40mm fan instead of sending it back to Newegg.

The ePower is triggered by the extra molex power from a second CD-rom bay.

I notched a slot on my eSATA card so I could run the power to ePower out the back.

I also had a clear perplex side panel made at a local plastics shop for $36--good for peace of mind.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to put the second card in the fast 8X slot unless I remove the 3 hard drives on the right side.
Here is some pics of my quick and dirty setup.
