It’s a good deal. I have had 16 inch m1 mbp since launch. Wanted a new m2 air in midnight as a second laptop now I am thinking get the 14 instead of the air same price.
how about the m2 air?Man, my fingers are itching.
I have an iMac 2015 i7 27 inch. Wondering for how much i could sell this for.
its time for a new computer since this machine will no longer receive updates. However not sure if its better to wait the M2 Pro, regardless its a great deal for sure.
looks like amazon is out. Amazon return policy is longer, only available on Best Buy.
I prefer the Pro because of the size of the Screen, the refresh rate and ports. The Air is a fine computer but we also all know that the 512 ssd is almost the same price as this sale. the 256 is very slow in ssd speed..how about the m2 air?
How long is Amazon’s return policy?Man, my fingers are itching.

How does their return window work? No questions?Forget Best Buy. Buy from Costco if you can. Same price: $1599 with a 90 day return policy. Just picked one up yesterday and am extremely happy with it. Best bang for the buck IMO. Way better deal than a similarly spec'd M2 Air.
yep, no questions asked, even on the 89th day. Costco is a great place to buy electronics! How does their return window work? No questions?
Yea but don't you need a Costco membership? How much are those going for anyway these days?yep, no questions asked, even on the 89th day. Costco is a great place to buy electronics!
Does anyone know when the Best Buy deal ends?Howdy folks - so I've been lurking on this site for years, soaking up so much great information on Apple, Mac OS and hardware. As an iPhone and iPad user, I knew my next laptop would be a Mac, but I've been waffling between the MBA M2 an the 14" M1 Pro. Welp, decision was made for me... For those in the US, Best Buy has the 14 Pro on sale for $1599. Created an account to share the news while they have supplies. Way too good to pass up at this price point...
I'll probably head back to lurking, since most of my questions are generally answered, and the community here can say anything I have to say, just waaaay better. Have a great weekend!
And since it's a hot topic for deciding between the 2, I'd say 95% of what I need a laptop for I could get by with an MBA. Only thing holding me back is I'm so used to dual screens (yup, know there's a workaround) and I keep threatening to dig into Logic Pro and get serious about creating music. The Pro would future-proof that a bit, and I don't lug around a laptop all that often, so portability wasn't an issue. Plan on this lasting 10 years, so might as well go all in.
Costco deals ends around the 25th...so I assume BBY will be around the same time.Does anyone know when the Best Buy deal ends?
I believe Costco is $60/yr unless you get a discount offer in the mail.Yea but don't you need a Costco membership? How much are those going for anyway these days?
How does that work?Great, jumped on the deal for $1600-$240(15% back if you open bestbuy credit card). Not bad I would say for $1360. Still keeping my m1 Air with 8/512 for my wife or personal things, while MBP will be employed towards the WFH job.

I'd be interested in finding this out as well. According to the link below, you can get 5% but it's in the form of points which you can convert to a reward certificate to spend at Best Buy. You can get an additional 5% if you follow some other terms such as: Only for the first day of purchases and "when you choose standard credit"... whatever that means. So even this is not the same as 10% off or 10% in cash back. Maybe they had a special that day for 15%?How does that work?
I purchased the 2021 14" M1 MBP online at Best Buy for $1599 (+tax) a week ago.
Used an AmEx card
Intrigued by your post....I don't have a Best Buy visa card...
Their web site seems to indicate there's a 5% discount (not 15%) when items are bought with a BB credit card.
How did you manage to snag 15% ?

Thanks for asking. So every once in a while when sales are slow, BestBuy throws out a "promo" like open credit card and your first purchase gets 15%. It is really hard to follow on the website the logic of it, but I will try to explain you.I'd be interested in finding this out as well.

Since this is a once in a while promo, then last time i ordered on Sep 2 while 15% promo was until Sep 5 (Labor day). On non promo days, you get 10% back.
To use it, you need to sign-up during the 15% promo and make your first purchase within (5 or 14 days I don't remember) with your new card. When applying for card, you need to be logged into your BB account so that the card sticks to it and you can shop without physical card in the meantime.
Promo 15% will be applied to your only first and only purchase. So make it big to exercise unlimited 15% - I mean buy the most expensive item on your list and don't start from cheaper ones.
On the checkout, select "standard credit" which is 5% on all items everyday with BB credit card. The magic trick is that they will additionally add you extra +10% later on. In the end, you get your 15% as a gift card to BB. Since I have so many things to buy there (tv, xbox, phone, displays) then I don't mind having my funds stuck there as a gift card. Otherwise might not work for you.
Opposite to the standard credit is 0% APR 12/24/36mos repayment. If you choose 0% APR then you don't get 5% rewards or you are also not eligible for 15%. Basically there is only 2 ways of payment with your card:
1) Standard credit - 5% rewards, but you pay upfront everything.
2) 0% APR for 6/12/24 mos - you pay only monthly payments, which saves you money but doesn't give any % rewards.
You wait until your return window expires, and points get released to you to spend. Right now it shows as pending.
