I will just post my experience with manually installing the cockpit views in Grid 2. I was able to get them to work (and it is much better for me to use them), but the game constantly crashes on my machine until I go back to using the original camera files. So I installed them for a couple of the cars I really love to use and it seems fine.

Let me know if anyone else has this problem after manually installing them. I really do prefer to use the cockpit view, even with the blurred out cockpit visuals. But the crashing isn't worth it for me.

Works fine on our tests and from a few other users, what settings/card are you using? I'd contact support so we can investigate.
I'm running it on my 2012 rMBP with the Nvidia GT650M at the settings the game defaulted to (so, basically "Medium"). I've just contacted support.

10.10.2 has unfortunately NOT solved any of the problems I mentioned earlier in this thread. Glare is STILL a big issue especially for the Chicago track.

Yep, looks like the 10.10.2 update that shipped doesn't fix the driver bug on some Nvidia cards. Strange as the issue was closed as fixed. I've flagged it for further investigation.

If you feel adventurous you can fix this with the help of Nvidia's drivers on their site however you will need to do a little bit of google-foo due to driver installers not being allowed for anything but MacPros.

DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY TO TAKE THE RISK AND UNDERSTAND THAT IT COULD CAUSE YOU MAC TO NOT BOOT CORRECTLY.

We have re-raised the issue with Apple and hopefully they will accept the fix from Nvidia for 10.10.3 instead.
