Samsung should let the consumer decide which experience they prefer. So if it impacts existing sales, then boo-hoo haha. It justs give the consumer an option to better fit their needs. And isn't that what Android is all about? And unfortunately, at its current price point with no carrier subsidy, it won't be an option for most.

The S4 Google Edition uses the Snapdragon chipset. If you want octo, you will have to import it overseas.

Yeah, and considering the biggest hindrance to optimal performance is being stripped away (bye bye TouchWiz), this will probably scream with the Snapdragon chipset. The Exynos would be nice but likely unnecessary.

I doubt it. I'm sure those are all part of touchwiz.

Sounds like this will be a US exclusive initially and will be like the Nexus 4 and work on only T-Mobile & AT&T here in the states. Sorry my Euro friends.

Nope. You will just get boring and featureless stock Android. You will get more storage space though, a few GBs I would guess.

Through rooting you could, but it won't be an update or anything like that. Then everyone would buy them subsidized from the carriers.
