This thread is full of FUD. China Unicom, the second largest mobile operator in the People's Republic of China supports LTE bands 3 and 41, both of which are supported on models A1778 and A1784 (the GSM models) of the iPhone 7.

If you're traveling to China just make sure you get a sim card from China Unicom and you should be ok regardless of what model iPhone 7 you have.

Lol at people totally jumping the gun on this. I am glad people are finally starting to clear it up.

Seriously, look at the LTE spec webpage again. Are you implying that while the CDMA phone works in Hong Kong China, it then only works in Puerto Rico and USVI? And no other international country?

On that page, the CDMA phone doesn't "list" any other LTE network compatibility other than USA USVI Puerto Rico HK and China.

As another user already pointed out, the right side of the page is likely what carriers are offering which version of the phone. The LTE bands are what determines network compatibility.

Both phones work internationally.
CDMA phones are needed for CDMA networks and doesn't affect LTE compatibility. BTW, to my knowledge, there aren't even any CDMA carriers in HK/China.
