argh sadly bootchamp is still not working (i've took a screenshot).. oh thank you Dr Stealth for the heads up, couldn't see something THAT obvious (shame on me *again* ;) )

Anyway SIP has to be disable for this to work .. gonna give this a try
[doublepost=1520043297][/doublepost]ok after testing it (by disabling SIP in recovery mode) = paragon software does the exact same thing as system settings=>boot disc. It's a "permanent" modification ... whereas bootcamp was only a one time modification...
*argh*... Is there any software more up to date than bootchamp and who does the same thing, a one time non permanent choice for boot sequence ?

In Windows you can use the free version of EasyUEFI to either change the default boot drive, or do a 1-time change to the boot drive.

Personally, I would continue to work on a bootscreen solution (getting the GT120 working or getting the 970 flashed).

Has anyone tried disabling the GT120? I.E. in Device Manager, select the GT120, right-click, Disable. I wonder if that would work. After all, you don't actually need the GT120 to operate in Windows, just during boot time. Hopefully Windows wouldn't try to apply a driver to a disabled hardware device, but it might, so this might not work.

Yes i've tried to disable the card too.
right click on the GT120 and "disable". In addition to the aformentionned procedure (standard VGA display driver AND blocking any driver installation as explained in the video by Hrutkay mods. None of this works. I wanted to "completely" disable" the GT120 (ie Black screen) on windows boot (after the boot screen) to let the GTX 970 kick in normally but i failed this !
I've circumvanted this by installing an old Bootchamp version which is compatible with high sierra once SIP has been disabled.
So for now i'm good. Next step : buy a radeon 2600 XT for Mac Pro. With 2 different drivers for different manufacturers, even windows 7 should be able to detect and display them flawlessly with, this time, not the threat of a conflict between driver version.. I will give EasyUEFI a shot fo the sake of science though ;)
