My guess is that they will release it sometime before August 1st. Anything more specific then that, and you'll have to ask Apple.

I'm guessing July 22nd, also I think we'll most likely see gold master early July.. As in the past with OSX Lion and Snow Leopard the GM was released a little over two weeks of official release date..

My guess is July 18th. My reason being, is that same week last year, Apple held it's Q3 2011 Conference on Tuesday, July 19th, and released Lion the following day (July 20th). I think it will be the same situation again. I think that Mountain Lion won't be released until after Apple's Q3 conference, which basing it off of last year will probably be the Tuesday the 17th

I think lion will ship before then, it will allow apple to show its investors how well mountain lion is selling.
