That's exactly what it is. They're only holding those particular models (20" w/256MB VRAM) in the back because the boxes were mislabeled. The standard 17" & 20" models are still selling as usual, they certainly haven't been "suspended."

That whole thing wasn't fun for anyone that day. Yes I did call Apple and file a complaint about it, I would hope those that had this happen would do the same.
But hey it all worked out in the end, just took a bit more time to get one
And as to what happened, wrong label on the side of the boxes...part #'s MA and SERIAL #'s that start with W860.........I have 4 reciepts in front of me from each box, each one returned, less the DOA unit.
It's not a lot but a "real" number is still in question by Apple. I would think whatever was shipped that day to the Apple stores, which really wouldn't be more than 50-75 as the Buffalo, NY store got 25 in and all were 128 VRAM.
