Guessing game - release date for the 2011 MBA

October seems likely.
Especially if there are even newer sandybridge CPUs coming shortly.

According to at least 3 rumours we've all heard about it's going to be june/july, which could also make sense. So I personally think it'll be in this timeframe, at least I sure hope so, as I need mine before I get back to school in august.

Same. I was under the impression that Apple's C2D stock couldn't last them until October. But then again, I haven't seen any concerete evidence about that lol

Apparently i7 for the 13" and i5 for the 11", HD3000 instead of 320M. Should be much faster processor wise, have slightly/severely worse performance in 3d games, probably extended battery life as well.
 
Getting closer to the WWDC, thought I would bump this up to the top.

Lets see who gets this right.
 
Its not normal to do an update so fast even with a new proc out but I think this time will be the exception. Too many places are out of Air, all the chatter points to it, and even Best Buy has the latest models on sale which is unheard of for them.
My credit card is ready and I will snag the new one the day it comes out.

What is wrong with apple why don't they just update the MBA and mini to the sandy bridge era .. I mean C2D??? Really?? ... You expect people to buy a computer with C2D in it in 2011??? Gaaahl!!

I'm willing to bet Apple's target MBA demographic doesn't know the difference between a C2D or a Sandy Bridge CPU

Pfft I ain't gona buy a MBA now anyway .. I got a kick ass pc.. Don't "need" a mac .. Maybe next year with ivy bridge
