GV+ Google Voice app is free in itunes for limited time. I got it and it is really nicely integrated with iphone, can read contacts and all the good stuff....

if you had free/paid version from cydia, delete and then install this from app store..

~1AM EST it will go back to $2.99.

I like it a lot, and was waiting this week to update. Thanks for a reminder, I didn't know when exactly on Saturday it would change to free. I wasn't going to spend on it again.

Nice features coming up in 1.0.3, like direct dialing (so it doesn't waste so much time just to get though), prepopulated phone-to-ring (I never remember my Gizmo number), and of course push.

I wish to see more frequent releases, a few improvements at a time instead of a long list planned for just the next one. But as long as they're stable features, I won't be complaining :)

I put this on two iPhones and when I text on gv+ it sends the text to default SMS not gv+ unless forward to mobile is off, but than I cant call my new gv number. Solutions?

I forgot tonight was the night GV Mobile+ was available for free until I saw this post. Thank you for the reminder troyhouse. :)

Kinda weird, im trying to download it now at 11:13pm in MI and its already back to $2.99. What gives dude?

*edit* now @ 11:15pm its telling me that "this app cant be purchased its being modified". Guess you didnt wanna take a chance of it coming close to going pass midnight. Rather cut it short than go over huh?

yes when i search for it it says free

then when i click on the app it says 2.99

if i click on 2.99 will i get charge?

Pretty strange someone just recently put in the request for the price change, but noone is monitoring the forums to give us any feedback on whats going on.

Then they'll chime in at 12:05 and say oh yea guys times up. Dont know why it ended early in your area must have been an itunes glitch. Dude the app probably got bombarded with downloads and he pulled it early to keep making money on it.

i think he is having trouble keeping it free or something, check out his twitter

Here's the deal...once it goes free (within 30min), I'll give it an hour or so before flipping it back. I think that's fair enough.
