When you walk into the stadium, hold it in one of those giant foam hands, they'll just think it's an iPhone :D

This is an amusing thread to follow. For one because they are wrong for restricting this. It's like saying no large cameras. Which I abide by...then watch the person right next to me walk in with one over their shoulder. But also because an iPad may be the only way I might actually want to go to a game for the reason listed in a ply just a moment ago about the MLB app for in stadium use. I find games dreadfully boring waiting for action...and at least looking up game and player stats might make it ok with the other guest that I am not just sitting there waiting for them to hit the ball.

But finally, because I want to see how this thread develops to see if anybody gets away with saying that this is simply their cell phone and proving it by placing a phone call. The iPad is closer to the iPhone Than it is a net book, if you ask me. Have you tried holding it up to your shoulder like an 80's style boom box?

MLB Advanced Media will soon release an update for the MLB.com At Bat iPad app that is designed to enhance the game-watching experience while in a stadium.

You don't need an App for that :D
