I saw a great home-made costume yesterday. A woman wore a cardboard box on her shoulders so it surrounded her head. (There was no top on the box so she got plenty of fresh air.) She had put blue translucent plastic over center cutouts on all four sides. On the plastic she had pasted little fish and sea plant stickers. She was an aquarium!

The Halloween thing has become some sort of American version of Carnival.

errr... the Halloween I do is a family get together (20-30 people) where we all dress up and hold fun activities for the 10 or so cousins of mine who are still 3-8 years old. Unfortunately, it was rainy and cold this year, but we still made it fun.
I went to a Halloween party on Tuesday (early I know!).
I originally went as a mad scientist, but by the time the photo was taken, my hair had flattened itself, the soot had come off my face, and I was sick of wearing my glasses half way down my nose, so I probably look more like a doctor in the photo...awesome.

I DJ'ed a private costume party and the winners for "scariest" costume was a couple who went as the Swine Flu. They had on white shirts and hers had H1 on the front, and his had N1 on the front. They also had pig noses and curly pig tails on. It was humorous.
