I would love to have a switch app from Nintendo that I could run on the ipad. I'd pay for it, just to escape having a second device.
I’m already paying for Switch Online. It would be nice to access its library from any device. Touch screen controls may not always be ideal, but give us keyboard and controller support as well. Like what Delta has.

I was born in 81 and still have an NES, SNES, Nintendo 64 and a PlayStation that were gifts along with a ton of titles that I received as holiday / birthday gifts or outright bought by saving part of my allowance when I was a kid / in my early teenage years before I could drive, had an actual job and started buying N64 and PlayStation titles on my own outright..

If I only download ROM’s for games that I literally have a cartridge for then I’m not breaking any laws here in the US am I? I already bought most of my favorites a 2nd time when I bought the NES and SNES Classic’s when those came out. Playing those titles on my TV is fun but playing them on my phone would be awesome! I don’t have any ROM’s I’ve acquired at the moment but snapped up the app and have backed it up using imaging just in case it gets removed from the Apple Store.

Real talk, in the mobile space, emulation is typically the closest you're gonna get to an engaging traditional game experience.

Apple's kind of burned traditional gaming down to the ground since day one, when they decided games shouldn't be more than a dollar and basically made it impossible to ever find a good game.

That 100% of their RE Framework games have been bought and paid for by Apple, and that Capcom has ported literally 0 other games on the same framework to iOS, really speaks volumes.
Screw every other mobile game. This is what I truly want. Now, I can finally play Pokémon!

Safest bet would be hack your NES/SNES Classic systems and extract your own ROMs. 😁

It’s really nice and easy to use. It couldn’t be better. Playing Guerilla War (NES) again took me back to my childhood as well as Super Mario Deluxe and Donkey Kong Country for GBC. Apple finally provided us with a pleasant surprise allowing these emulators on the App Store. I hope they don’t reverse their decision.

A fun night!

The thing is that Delta has already existed for a while. If Nintendo were to do something, they probably would’ve done it a long time ago
Agreed. Then they should probably go for the places that offer pirated roms. Suing Delta would be the same as if you had to sue all TV and DVD manufacturers because you can watch pirated movies on their devices. There are also Home Brew roms which are fully legal... although Home Brew is probably not the first thing people will pick up for Delta hehe.

I was hyped to play games on my ipad then I saw there is no support, it's just the iphone app. Iphone is a bit small for me to enjoy gaming, ah well. App does work great for what it does, and no ads.

We are kindred spirits. Original Gameboy Tetris is the best version. End of discussion.

I already installed it, and now I finally have proper Tetris on my phone that I can play anywhere.
The dx color version is better cause it records high scores and has color.

"this app is currently not available in your country or region" THIS is exactly why we need sideloading on iOS.

An Apple TV version of this would be amazing. With a controller connected it will be a proper retro console.
