A bit to clarify. 2.5 SATA ONLY. Nothing else will work. There are a lot of 2.5 ATA HDD in the market since most laptops use them instead(including PB,iBook). You`ll need a 2.5" SATA HDD 9.5 cm long.7on said:2.5" SATA harddrives.

i'm pretty sure the macbook hard drive removal involves no screws or screwdrivers, other than the one needed to remove the bracket covering the hard drive and memory slots.joshwest said:and make sure you have a T6 Torx screwdriver to take the drive out of the bay or you will be stuck with the current drive.

charlestrippy said:heh, i figured it was too cheap to be true. do you know where I can find some 2.5 (assuming thats what MBP's use too) that are over 120gb?
WildCowboy said:I believe there's only one such drive currently available (at 160 GB), but it's 4200 rpm...it'll be painfully slow. There will be some good options coming on the market soon though.
