Recent Crash

I use PC Maclan to keep my OSX iMac and XP PC speaking to each other.

I was running Mediacleaner on a 8gb AVE file on the PC and it was not responding. I tried to access the file server (PC) from my Mac and the spinning disk icon came up.

XP even froze my Mac. When Bill says 'Crash the customer's computer' the engineers really exceed expectations.

Office X

Had my first system freeze in OS X today.

I was dragging and dropping text in Word X and everything just locked up. I have had programs crash (esp. IE), but this is a first.

Micrsoft finally manages to do something no other company is capable of.

The system does crash, credits M$

The os has crashed two times in fact. Both the times I was using Windows Media Player. Microsoft has done it again, these guys can make any os crash.

my first os x crash!

well.....two days ago, i had my first os x crash! not just an app, but the whole system. i had to reboot the computer! im finally one of the group!!!

i was just logging on as i usually do and the computer seemed to be taking a long time to log me in (usually no more than 5-10 seconds, this time it was going on for well over a minute). the processor kept making its clicks in the exact same pattern the whole time. i assumed it might be some sort of infinate loop, so i tried a force quit. the force quit dialogue came up and only the finder was said to be running (obviously), so i pressed force quit. it didnt quit. instead, the processor stopped making any noise at all and the computer just sat there. i waited for a few seconds and the processor made a few more clicks and another copy of the finder appeared in the force quit box. waited for a few more seconds to see what was going on......another finder opened! then another, and another! anyways, i could see that it was going nowhere fast so i just held down the power key until it shut down.

anyone know what might have caused this? for anyone whos skeptical, i took some screenshots as soon as things started gettin weird.
