I wanted to order my new watch with the Gold Link Bracelet but of course it was not available, this was immediately after the store opened after the event. Has anyone heard why or any information of when it may be available. Of course it was prominently displayed in the Apple event on Monday.

Yeah I’m upset about it too! I have had the silver SS watch from the beginning, and then the aluminum watch the past couple of years. The gold with the link bracelet looks so good though I want to get it. I ordered a gold now just waiting for the link to be available.

Same here. I wanted to order the new watch and the phone from my carrier. Unfortunately, their website was acting up, so I had to place the phone order over the phone. After an hour, we were able to complete the phone order, and then we moved on to the watch. As I was explaining the configuration I wanted to the representative, he seemed confused and asked, “What are you talking about? What link bracelet?” I explained that it was a new watch band. However, he informed me that I would have to order the band separately because it didn’t show up in their system. I firmly refused to do that and decided to order the entire watch from Apple. To my surprise, I discovered that the watch band was not even available on Apple’s website, and I couldn’t find any information about it. I’m surprised that MKBHD hasn’t mentioned this issue in his video or any other tech YouTube channel I know of. I contacted Apple, but of course, they were no help. They suggested that I follow their blog because that’s where they post updates about their products. I have a strong negative opinion of Apple customer service. They can never provide assistance when I contact them.

When I picked up my watch today at my local Apple Store they basically had no idea about the Linked Bracelet Band and had no idea when they will have them. The guy who helped us even went as far to say he did not even see the Event and had no idea what it looked like.

Following - I ordered with the ML to hold me over until it's released. I keep checking the website daily. I had to call Apple to fix a payment issue on my pre-ordered watch and I asked the rep and she had no info either.....

Unfortunately I think no one knows. I was back into the Apple Store on Saturday after having been there on Friday for pick up, this time I spoke with someone that seemed to be in a management or leadership position. He said he had no idea and there was no information for them on that link band. He agreed that it was quite prominent in the Apple New Release presentation yet not available.....Now this is just my thought could it be that they found the new band got easily scratched up with all the people handling it and it is back to the drawing board to try to make it more durable?? Just guessing here or guessing the supplier could not get them supply.

Is anyone else surprised that Macrumors hasn’t done a story on this yet or there’s no leaked information from their sources. I feel like in the past when there have been unannounced delays/issues in manufacturing which resulted in delays, MR was on top of it.

I was at the local Apple store Sunday and they had one in the drawer with bands to try on with display watches. I don't like the look of gold so I didn't ask to see it but it was definitely there. I guess it was just for display purposes. The specialist did mention that the new titanium milanese bracelet for the Ultra2 was on back order when I tried it on.

I tried to order it this morning on Apples site and it's still not available. A friend wanted to get it for her 2 year old gold watch, but I don't think it is going to match the finish. The new watch's gold is more bronze or copper than that years gold. I ended up with the ML and I really like it a lot. Not a fan of the older gold personally/

To me it’s more like a champagne color which I love. I don’t like the previous gold color or gold jewelry/watches in general but love this color.

I have it and to me it looks similar to rose gold (sort of like the series 5 which I had before but slightly more yellow than that).

I tried on lots of S10 and the black Apple Watch Ultra 2 in the Apple Store last weekend and the Specialist at the Apple Watch table said that the gold link bracelet is still unavailable since the event as well. She said it has to do with the supply chain issue that is delaying certain bands or back ordering them.

Gold titanium absolutely has the tone of gold of the gold stainless steel Apple Watch Series 4 and 5, just a bit lighter. I have a gold stainless steel series 6 which is when Apple started to turn it to more of a true yellow gold.

Same here. They had it on the band tray with the nicer bands. A 42mm sized link bracelet in gold. And a few folks on the forums unfortunately have to wait until the end of the month for titanium Milanese loop.

I keep checking the website daily..... no dice not even in the store close to me
⚔️ not even the one near me either! How did the Apple Store manage to get one on the demo tables… and y’all cannot get one yourselves as they are not even available for pickup.

I think in the news I heard that there is an issue with the shipping ports around the nation.
