It's hard going back to the tiny screen of iPhone. It's like a toy compared to the 4.7in screen on the S3.

When I hold an iPhone now, it feels so tiny in my hands that I find myself squeezing it as if my hand doesn't believe that this device I used to own was so small.

When I look at the screen, I find myself squinting a bit for some reason because the text is really so much smaller than on my Nexus that it feels unnaturally small to me.

I know what you mean. I go into an Apple store and see all the iphone users holding the phone really close to their face when they are trying to read something. Not to mention all the squinting people you see. And yes, they do look really tiny now.

Yep, I see them put on their glasses when they use it. It's pretty hilarious.

I gotta say that the FEEL of the iPhone is the most surprising thing after you've used a large Android phone. It creates a curious bit of cognitive dissonance in your head when you feel the quality of the device yet there is a lack of size in your hand that confuses you as to whether you are holding a nice adult phone or a small toy phone that a child would use.

I should carry a big screen around with me? I'm not a professional, it's just a hobby. Yes, if I PLAN to show pictures, I want a bigger screen. If I am just having a conversation with someone, it's nice to pull out the phone and show them. I'd rather they see a 3.5" version of my picture as I processed it on my laptop than a 3.8" version (3:2 format, the 4.8", 16:9 screen does NOT make the picture 4.8") that is WAY over saturated and NOT what I saw when I processed it on my computer.

In this way, even the new "larger" screen on the iPhone 5 will be the same size, as the width isn't changing.

If you want the phone to re-crop your image and show an over saturated 4.8" image, by all means, use the Galaxy S3.

I tend to agree with this poster. In the rush of getting homework done, catering to guests, participating in a bachelor party, packing for my honeymoon and (of course) getting married, I forgot my point and shoot camera. I managed to take 300+ photos with my 4 on my honeymoon, which all turned out GREAT. granted, my phone isn't a 4S, but even the 4 is still great in the photo dept. and the only issue I ran into was with digital zoom, but that was to be expected.

If I had the money I'd give the galaxy S3 a shot just to see what it was like. I can also see myself coming back to the iPhone because of the integration between all apple devices, which is my favorite thing about iOS and Mountain Lion.

I changed from the 4S to the S3, but I suppose I'm not getting back any soon. Android can be really amazing once you get used to it. But I guess there is no such thing as the best phone, but the phone that suits you better. It's blazing fast, light and the screen is just amazing.
