Has Anyone's iMac Shipped Yet?

Where do i see where mine is being shipped from?
Only thing it says is the method, Fast Ship (EMEA - Europe, Middle East and África).
Should arrive 11 or 12.

Just received my iMac 27" i7. I ordered it on the 3rd, got shipment notice on the 6th, and it arrived today. Pretty good. I'll spend the day setting it up and moving data from my good old C2D. Now I guess I can hop over to the iMac 27 i7 owner's thread. :)
 
Waiting for Fedex info...

Fedex picked my 27-i7 in Newark, CA on the 4th and the last tracking info posted was that it was in Reno, NV on the 5th. It's project to arrive tomorrow.

I bought this with the lowest price I could find. I wish I would have opted for expedited shipping!
 
I'm in the UK and my imac shipped from China on Thursday. I still don't have a tracking number. Is this normal?

What's the procedure with imacs coming from China? Do they go straight to the courier or to an apple base?

Mine shipped today, still have no tracking number nor Apple has take the money from my account.
Expecting an email soon.
 
UK Delivery

I ordered my 27" i7 on Monday 9th Aug. Expected 17-18th Aug.

It says it will ship tomorrow.

I think it takes a day or two for the courier to pick it up and assign a tracking number.

The staff at Apple CS are very helpful but really clueless.
 
Customs and shipping - why not stock pile here and slot some chips in... stupid model

I just rang Apple and the CS guy said that:

"Machine will leave China on agreed ship date... it then has to pass through 3 customs gates = China -> LUX -> UK ------ it will then it will hit the Apple warehouse where it will join my other items on the order (E.g. laptop\printer etc) and then the courier will ship it to me..."

Fun!
 
received my imac i7 yesterday, set up cs5 as well as windows 7 with sc2. boy is it hot when the cpu and graphic card is running.

You were right - the printer delayed the order. I called Apple to split the order and send the items as soon as they're available. I'm a little bit disappointed - do I really have to wait more than one week and call Apple two times to find out that a printer is delaying shipment of my iMac? :mad:
Estimated delivery date is now Aug 20. Ordered on Aug 2... :(
 
I7 2.93 out for delivery this morning 4 days early can't wait. My first step into the world of mac's.

Got an update yesterday from the retailer from which I ordered my iMac. Apparently my iMac delivery has been delayed until the 25th:)mad:).. was originally meant to be delivered tomorrow... Delays suck!
 
Ordered BTO 21.5" 3.60GHz i5 on August 7th.
Today: "Prepared for Shipment"
Delivers: Aug 13 - Aug 19

:D The wait is killing me! :D

Estimate Delivery: Aug 17th
 
Ordered the base level i3 21.5" iMac on Wednesday afternoon. Got an email from apple yesterday evening saying that my credit card company was querying the transaction so had to call them to confirm that it was legitimate.

Fingers crossed apple will try and take the money today and start processing the order for delivery. I guess as I'm ordering a stock model (along with 8gb iPod Touch and HP4500 printer) it should ship fairly quickly once the payment has cleared.

Looking forward to finally getting my first iMac! :)
 
Delay on 27 inch i7

Shipping: 3 days
Estimated delivery: 17th Aug

This has now changed (got an email yesterday) that:

Shipping: 3-5 Days
Estimated delivery: 23rd-25th Aug

Aaaaaaaaah! Apple have great products but awful logistic operations! Why release a product if you are not going to immediately supply it --- muppets.
 
I ordered my 27" i7 quad core on august 7th and will receive it on the 16th. How do I know if it shipped from china or us?

So is it arriving today because Fedex hasn't updated the tracking info, or has it been stuck in Sacramento since Wednesday? The shadow knows.......

Assuming the former would definitely afford me notable elation, but as the day drags on, the latter appears ever more likely. It's 11 am and there is no change to "Out for delivery" or anything of the sort. Sigh.

Update: Sure enough, not only did my iMac not arrive today, but the "Estimated delivery" date (which was today) disappeared from the tracking website. I guess this normally happens when Fedex misses the date. Now I have to wait until next week for a new "Estimated delivery" date to appear. I just hope the iMac is not getting banged around in transit somewhere.
 
I ordered mine on Thursday 12th August - Quad 27" i7 with 1TB HD - the guy on the phone said it would come from China built to order, but instead it came straight from Ireland and arrived yesterday, the 13th August. It took just over 24 hours to arrive, not bad! Guess they must've had a stockpile or something.

Trouble is that I have a dead pixel and a speck of dust behind the glass so I'm now considering a replacement..

I've ordered a new 27" iMac on 10th of August. When i placed my order the extimated shipping date is 3 working day and the delivery scheduled for 16-17 of August. Yesterday, in time with the prediction, the iMac yesterday was sent but the extimated delivery date has become inexplicably Thursday 19. After that, this morning the state changed again to (written in Spanish?!?!?!): "En tránsito hacia el país de destino: la información se actualizará en los próximos 4 o 5 días laborales" which means that the shipment is in transit and will have new information from 5 or 6 days....they are crazy? The iMac was sent from Cork Island and I'm in Italy! with TNT i recieved my iMac i7 (2009) in 2 days from China! UPS will take 1 week from Cork Island to Italy?!? they are completely crazy?!? anyone had a problem like this?!? thanks!

Quick delivry (almost)

Ordered a BTO 27-inch i5 quad with SSD and trackpad on Wed. morning via Apple online store. Shipped from Sacramento. Arrived at FedEx Ground in Sacramento about 3 AM Friday, and arrived at our doorstep Saturday midday, but my wife didn't hear the doorbell and the driver left a door tag and took off. Next try on Tuesday since their weekend is Sunday and Monday. Arrgh! Shoulda left a note, will on Tuesday.
 
Update:
After departing from Sacramento for 4 days, my BTO iMac has arrived in Memphis. Now it has one day to get to Louisiana and in my hands by the end of Tuesday to be delivered within the expected timeframe.
 
Not only was Apple 2 days late putting in my order for the replacement, but they have now sent a notification of a delayed shipment. Great......
