I received my trade in kit on Saturday and I sent it off today, so I'm interested to see how long it will take until it's marked as Trade in complete.
Exactly the same. Got the kit Saturday, packed it up yesterday, shipped it this morning. I took a pic of the box/label and got the receipt with tracking on it as well.

I remember the last time I did a trade in a few years ago it was maybe 2 weeks or so when it was all marked complete. The XS Max I just traded in was in immaculate condition. Probably should've sold it outright but I really don't want to deal with humans (in person or selling online) right now, haha :)

Still haven't received either trade in box. Past experience has proven to be fruitless. Apple will defer to Citizens and vice versa.

Received my trade-in box yesterday. This will be my third time doing this process. Last year it took 11 days for Apple to receive my 10S Max. I always get a receipt when I take the box to FedEx and then track the shipment.

When I sent in my Apple Watch 3 within a few days I got an email saying it couldn't be processed because I forgot to remove it from my account. I did that and within a couple of days they processed my refund. About 7 days total.

Chatted with two separate Apple agents tonight. They’re sending out another box. This may be the last year we do this. They have failed in all 3 years we’ve been doing this “upgrade” program.

Mine says they have confirmed my trade in value and it will be completed soon, so looks like my trade in went fine. Took less than a week.

Yes. Received my trade-in box the week after the 12/12 Pro launch (Around Oct. 28th) and mailed it off. I got credited about 4 business days later.

Received my trade-in box from Apple yesterday...my phone is wiped, packed up, and waiting to be dropped off at a FedEx drop-off tomorrow. It was kinda sad packing him up, more this year than in the past, because the 11PM was such an amazing beast.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max was received by Apple today. This year it only took 2 days to get there. Last year it took 11 days. Also received an email from Apple with the following:

The iPhone you returned has been inspected by an Apple Specialist, and your trade-in is complete. The loan associated with the iPhone has been closed.

Shipped mines off on Tuesday, got notification that item is received and old loan is canceled 24 hours later

I shipped mine off today, oddly enough it says the address was corrected so something on the label was incorrect when it was printed. Hopefully it ends up in the right place!

Actually I would call Apple ASAP and give them a heads-up about this, fedex did the same with mine and it completely screwed everything up.

Big Karen-y rant ahead...

First off the trade in box was late after it showed out for delivery for 2 days, but I packed up my 8+ and dropped it off at the fedex store the same day. It has now been stuck at a fedex center in PA since Monday due to an issue with the address after the employee at the fedex store 'corrected' the address on the prepaid shipping label instead of just scanning it and putting it in the outgoing bin like she was supposed to. Now the package is undeliverable.

I've called fedex twice and gotten different stories each time, first they said it's going to be sent back to me since the destination address is now wrong and I just need to give the tracking 24hrs to update. I waited 24hrs and it didn't update, so I called them back. This time they said *I* placed a restriction on the package(which I definitely did NOT, idk what they're talking about) but they couldn't see what the restriction was so they'd have to transfer me to the shipping center to sort it out. They put me on hold for several mins then came back and told me the shipping center won't talk to me and I'd have to have Apple contact them. I'm beyond pissed at this point. So I call Apple and the rep said this is absurd and 100% fedex's fault. She said I would still get my trade-in credit, it would just take a bit longer since they'd have to investigate but the trade in team has seen this many times before and they'll get it taken care of.

I'm never mailing in a trade EVER again, in-store trades only from now on. If it does get sent back to me, I'm canceling the trade and just selling it or keeping it as a backup phone. Fedex sucks, I've never had a problem like this with UPS.

I would mostly agree with you on this normally but however I do want to say that when I took my phone to Fed ex for it to be shipped back as soon as she scanned it it automatically corrected something as far as the address in the system so I had my concerns. I did get a notification today that the trade-in partner has received it so I suspect that I will have the loan closed probably the first part of next week. I have seen a lot of people this time that seem to have had their address corrected as soon as I left it with FedEx so I really think it something in FedEx system. I also find it kind of funny that UPS with the world saver can get it from China to my apartment and basically 2 1/2 days and fed ex ground Chuck right at eight days from the timeThat I sent it in until the partner for the trade in accepted it today.

But as I currently work for one of the wireless companies in question I always tell customers on the phone to take a picture of the box or the return label so that they have something to track in case it gets lost by FedEx or the mail or UPS or whatever it does it does happen too often

The circle is now complete, Apple has advised that the trade in is done ✅ I took the $500 trade in offer. Probably could have gotten more, but not worth a hassle.

I felt the exact same way in dropping my 11PM off at the UPS Store to ship back to T-Mobile. I loved that phone. It was the best iPhone ever imo.

How much did they give for 11PM?

Sent my trade in directly to Apple on November 17th. Received notification via Apple Store App that Apple trade in was received on November 23rd and then received email notification and Apple Store App updated on November 25th that trade in was accepted and no further action required.

Should always do it in store if you can. I ordered my iPhone online but requested to pick up instore, Applied the trade in online as well. When I went to pick up the phone I asked the rep to do the trade in on the spot which he was glad to help. I just had to ignore the box that was shipped to me. All good!

I accidentally shipped my iPhone 8 Plus back in the very same box the new one came in and put the supplied return label on and dropped off at the post office.

I had no idea a bubble envelope and a label going to Tennessee would arrive a few days after I shipped my trade in to the wrong place where the New phone came from.

Anyone make the same error?

oops.

I got the magic email from Apple yesterday that they received and inspected my 11 Pro Max trade-in, my old loan is closed and trade in is complete. Yay!

Yeah, my brown box came right away and I mailed my 11 PM back the same day. My wife had to escalate a chat conversation and they finally agreed to ship another box. We got hers shipped back (and delivered) before Thanksgiving. They finally emailed yesterday closing out her loan.

When I went into the CitizensOne account page, it shows $20 credits on both of our 11PM accounts. Where does that money go? Do they apply it to our 12PM loans, or credit our credit card or send us a check?
