You're totally right on that, but physically it just feels as ''most people''. On the other side I know that the reality is different
Guys I don't anyone is realllllly serious (for all those who keep lecturing)... we all want this device, and yeah were here kicking it hoping we get it earlier.. All is well... don't hurt to dream a little 
The only thing I have to figure out is my AT&T next plan. I used it when I placed my Apple.com order. So if I find a phone through istocknow I would have to go to the Apple store and make sure they have a phone available. Then cancel my Apple.com order but I wonder how long until my next plan upgrade becomes available again.
Last year I completely missed out on pre-order so I still had my next upgrade available when I bought the phone in store.
You can jump on chat or either call AT&T and they can reset it right then with a manager override.
Ordered 64 Silver (T-Mobile pay in full) from Apple App and Apple.com both literally as soon as they came back online (12:08am) or so and as of today they both shot Nov17-24 still

lol I'm one of those crazy's that check the status multiple times a day, but still I would never call Apple regarding this and definitely wouldn't get angry or ask them if it'll move up at all. Thats pretty ridiculous IMO

What you feel is unimportant. Facts are important. Until your delivery date changes, or your phone shows up in the mail, the only thing you have to go on is when Apple is telling you your phone will arrive. The shortages in stock this year are worse than any other year, and the past is not an indicator of future performance. There's so many variables that are different that they're literally not related.
Anyone not showing a delivery of Friday at this point isn't getting their phone on Friday. But more specifically the reason I told that one poster that nothing was going to change is because he was convinced this his sob story was going to make Apple give him a phone on Friday, and it isn't, and they aren't. (I can see two posts above this that he's still whining.)

I was in the 11/17-11/24 bucket (T-mobile, Silver, 256 GB), and just noticed my dates moved to 11/16-11/24. I ordered using the Apple Store app, in the IUP, and had gone through the pre-approval steps. I had some trouble getting in initially and placed my order around 12:04 AM EST.
I absolutely agree with you. The personal sob stories will accomplish nothing. I'm here to keep an eye on whether or not people in similar situations are experiencing the same movement as me. Just for fun, really!
My IUP device is scheduled to ship 11/16-24 and I was pre-qualified, and up at 3am to order. The other device I ordered at the same time, and paid full price for is getting here on launch day (11/3). So there goes that theory.
Not entirely... Were not saying every IUP person is getting hooked up, but of those getting hooked up, seem to be only IUP..
I wish I would get hooked up. Actually my original date was 11/17-24. I just checked and now it says delivers 11/16-24th which is strange.
My date hasn't budged from the 11/17-11/24 date. Wonder why a good amount of people got a slight bump to 11/16?

IUP ATT 256 Space Gray times 2. Was 17-24 now 16-24. Not sure if the sob stories to Apple are more ludicrous or pathetic. If we were talking about a heart or kidney replacement, that would be another matter. But a sob story because your phone is coming 2 weeks later than you hoped. I'm sure the Apple reps will be polite, but who would think they would actually feel sympathy for a sob story. Probably a sign of the times with people getting hurt feelings if you look at them the wrong way.
same exact boat, except before I got my confirmation email it said 10th-17th. Once I got the confirmation it said 17-24. Checked this morning, it says 16th-20th.
Personally, I really don't mind the wait because I want to see the reviews from people that have had it for more than 48hrs.
My phone is coming November 3!!!!!! Yessssssssssssss coming Friday yayyyyuuhhhh!
I would mind the wait. I’d rather be the one reviewing with the easy option of returning it within 14 days if I wanted to.
