I ordered from Verizon; Apple never worked for me.

I got bumped from guaranteed delivery on the 3rd to shipping on the 3rd. Glad y’all are at least getting bumped in the right direction.

Granted, I won’t be too mad if it gets bumped a day or two since I will be out of town for a wedding anyways...but it still sucks.

Haha... no worries, lots of us in the same boat (17 to 24th)- I know it's hard to wait, but so you don't go crazy just check once a week or so. It's been the same way for many past iPhone pre-orders I've gone through. Also be glad it's only 2 to 3 weeks compared to 6 weeks now! :)

I look forward to upcoming reviews and thoughts from 11/3 people too.

Finally someone with good news on a 17-24 delivery date. We need proof, as you can understand

And let’s continue to keep only that date group posting.

It looks like your original order got thru a lot sooner than most of us with the 17-24 dates. Maybe that is why yours moved up.

I almost place a t-mobile order once I saw that they still had launch date delivery posted... at the end of the day decided to stick with iUP.

I wanted to play it safe this year because last year I didn’t get my 7+ until 10/18 so I said I would order from both T-Mobile and Apple and cancel whichever order don’t ship first. I’m really surprised T-Mobile dates were great this year.

My experience with previous launches was my phone was charged when they had a phone for my account. I’m not the only one being charged. On the T-Mobile thread others are being charged as well.
No disrepect, but i believe if you call your credit card company, they will tell you the merchants cannot charge the card prior to shipment. Again, yours is a pending charge, so it’s not yet charged, there is a BIG difference. You aren’t charged any interest (even if you are carrying a balance) until it moves out of the pending status and into an actual charge to your account.

This happens every year...just look at previous years threads and you’ll see for yourself! :)

I hope I get bumped.

I had to place my order on Apple.com since the app wouldn’t load. I signed up for the iPhone upgrade program and I was saved a spot at 1:15am.... I didn't get a confirmation email until 3:37am and then I was sent an email to "finalize”my order at 10:20am and go through the credit check.

Apple rep just told me that my order was completed at 10:27am?!
On the phone with them now. I wonder if I just paid for the phone instead of messing with the IUP if I would have the 11/3 window?

Did this happen to anyone else?

You guys that are calling Apple...what are you saying to the rep?

Cause I imagine they’re going to say you can check the status of your order online, we’re extremely busy, etc.
[doublepost=1509314707][/doublepost]I was on the Apple Store app at 12:01am PST. It wouldn’t let me in. I closed and reopened the app so many times.

I jumped to Safari on the Iphone and managed to reserve a phone. then i went back and reloaded the page and it had me go through the ordering process and I got the email saying “Were processing your order” at 12:20am PST and a email with my ATT Next info at 5:48am.

I got placed into the 2-3 week with delivery 17-24.

I still haven’t been charged. Refreshing the page like crazy.

Already bought a Glass Zagg and silicone black case from Apple.

When did this happen?

Sometime today. Not sure exactly when. I didn’t get an email but just saw the date changed when I checked my order.

If that’s the case you are the first one and that’s big news
Got a screen shot ?

I have a screen shot of the Nov 3rd date now, but didn’t take a “before” screen shot.
I’m Verizon.

My story is kinda long, but I’ll try and summarize.

My first order was one where it said that I had a phone reserved but needed to wait on my carrier (Verizon). The message was so obscure that I wasn’t convinced I would have an early spot in line even though it was only 4 minutes after midnight PST.

I wasn’t happy or comfortable at all with that status, so I kept pushing on and got another order in a few minutes later.
Both orders were to pay it all in full.

I finally got that follow-up email about the first order. I was hoping it was showing that my spot was held and that I had an 11/3 delivery held. When I completed that process, it also showed 11/17 as the date. I was pretty disappointed to have 2 orders for that date when I thought for sure one would make the 11/3 date.

Today, I checked, and my first order changed to 11/3 delivery. I didn’t get an email or any notice of the change. It just is changed. The 2nd order is still 11/17-24.

When you say first and second "order" can you specify exactly which is which? So lets use the references normal order and Reservation order... which one got bumped.

I hope it was the reservation one, because I was in the same exact boat as you, but Apple emailed that I had duplicate orders and needed to cancel one, for whatever reason my gut was telling me to keep the reservation order... keeping fingers crossed.

Had 2 phones ordered. One at sprint and one at Apple. Just got my shipment from sprint! Guess sprint came through this time. So excited should be arriving on launch day. I probably will be canceling this order so hopefully y’all move up and get yours sooner!

That bump might be from T-mobile...just guessing based on another thread that majority of t-mobile users got their phones bumped up.

Sorry, my story was difficult to understand I know. The order that was bought forward was the reservation order.

To add a little more to the story, I originally ordered both orders using my phone number.

Later, when Apple sent me an email to complete my reservation order, it would not let me complete it because of the second, normal order.

I chatted with Apple and they said the normal canceled the reservation order.

I was bummed because the reservation order was first so my hopes of it being bumped up went away.
Then I saw another thread suggesting that I take that reservation and apply to another phone number, so I used my daughter’s number and it worked! I was only sad that it was also 11/17-24.
Well, i kept both orders hoping one would get bumped or at least ship on 11/17 vs 11/24.

Glad I did because the reservation order is now 11/3.

I’m now hoping my normal order changes to 11/10 or even 11/3 as well.

I’ll have to look at the numbers for time.
Are you asking based off the email?

I believe it was around :07 to :09 after the hour that the order that was bumped was placed.

The app WAS down for some people. It was down for me even 5 minutes past the hour. I was lucky and also had my desktop opened to the store and bought it via the full internet site with Apple.

Yeah, it was down for over 5 minutes for me too. Orders became available at 1:03AM here, and I immediately found that I could not load my previously saved phone in favorites. I also could not load previous orders or get to my account. It was not accessing any part of my account. After 2-3 minutes I went to select one from scratch and I had a 11/3 pickup date, then it went to contact AT&T for some reason.

I kept getting errors for the several minutes after picking my phone and trying to get to the next screen. Finally I got a screen asking me to enter my phone number and then more errors. Eventually I got the reservation screen at 1:12AM after orders opened up. Apple HAD NO REASON TO CONTACT AT&T when I'm paying full price up front.
