The thing that bothers me about AM and iTunes Match and all that is that it won't match up which songs I have to make a seamless experience. For example, I have The Mambo Kings soundtrack on CD, imported into iTunes, and cloudified with iTunes Match. If I ask Siri to play the Mambo Kings Soundtrack, it pulls the one that's in Apple Music, that only has 4 out of 16 songs available. If I want to listen to it I have to go to search, switch search to Your Library, and pull it from there.

Downloading it and keeping a local copy on my iPhone doesn't fix this.

Not as elegant as I'd like it to be. If it would I'd have no problem paying for AM each month. Right now, I'm on the family plan and have a few other family members who like using it, and this is keeping me from canceling.

I have a mix of Apple Music and iTunes media that make up my library. My main reason for getting Apple Music was that I could retain all the music I already had and just add on to my library. I have many albums that aren't on Apple Music or Spotify and I wanted to keep these connected to the library I used. That said, I don't actually sync to iTunes anymore because I just add everything to my iCloud Library and it auto downloads on my phone, iPad, and Mac
Same process for me.

Yes, in part.... Cant speak for others, but Apple music, the problem i still have is it doesn't seem to be perfect keeping stuff the way you want 100% of the time..

I always found that an album matched changes the artwork few days later..... Re-adding it is ok, but it doesn't fix anything...

If your music is yours locally, u control it and u know when it changes.

Using tools for me on something like AM or other services just to constantly fix stuff up, shouldn't be users problem, but until it is perfect, it always will be our problem.

That is something i choose not to live with.
