wow, i skimmed the article and missed the part that she actually pre-ordered it and is still camping. if it wasn't for the fact that it mentions that she works for a criminal defense firm, I might have just figured this girl to be mentally handicapped. Now I am just overall baffled.

Well at least it's around 80 degrees here in Chicago today! So she's not waiting in normal April 2 weather.
I suspect her mission in line is now fulfilled. She's now "famous" and strangers on the internet are talking about her. Way to go.
Very stupid if you pre-order you do not need to wait online for it, most likely she is going to sell it, you have until 3pm to pick up, they have one waiting for you with ou name on
They just showed on our local news that lines have already started. If I get one, it will be a month or two. Not too excited about an iPad for now.
No lines at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando. They won't let them camp out. The mall staff was attempted to sort out line placement when I was there.
The mall was completely insane with holiday travelers shopping though. Ugh.
The manager chimed in today about being smart with ordering it for delivery. They didn't share much other than they are expecting it to be crazy.

Most the hardcore Apple fans pre-ordered. Most of the people with reservations will show up in the morning. There will still be huge lines by tomorrow.
I pre ordered mine and then my parents are here visiting...My dad is now wanting one and my bro also...Im wanting accessories for mine so going to prob go stand in line and poss get my wife one also...I would reather have 2 in the house so everyone not using mine...INfact gong to sell my couple year old macbook pro for around 500 anyway when I can find time to list
