Anyone not upgraded to 3.1 yet do to 3.1 problems?

Now that Jailbreaking is ready for the 3G, I'm thinking of upgrading; although, I'm a bit skeptical do to the amount of threads relating to 3.1 problems.

Is it worth upgrading to 3.1 right now, or should I hold off?

I haven't yet because I have a 3gs. Even when they do come out with a jailbreak for the 3gs, I don't know if I'll even bother. There isn't anything in 3.1 that entices me to want to go through the whole upgrade/jailbreak process over again.

This ^^. Word for word

no way

I have 3GS 32GB and its not jailbroken, i don't want to jailbroke it either, but i still keep with 3.0 fearing of the issues that others have been facing with 3.1. I don't want to end up with a brand new 3GS, ending up unresponsive within a week :D

I'm on a 3GS so I can't jailbreak yet, but even if I could I think I'll sit this update out. I don't want to do without tethering, since AT&T hasn't even hinted at an official tethering option yet. Not that I'll want to pay for it then anyway.

I'm on a 3g but I have my jailbroken stuff just how I want it so I'm not upgrading until something useful comes along. 3.1 doesn't improve anything for me.

im pretty happy right now...ill give it a few weeks or so, let them work out the kinks.

Nope, everything is working great on 3.0.1 Too much to loose on 3.1
I have a non jb 3G here updated to 3.1.
Battery life sucks big time and Ive been using this phone the same way since day one. Can I backtrack to 3.01 easily?

I havent for 2 reasons.

1) Too many issues right now.

2) Some hackers out there believe that the 25th could bring 3.1.1.

I did on my 3G and didn't find a single problem with it. Battery life was improved even though I haven't had any problems with that recently.

I downgraded to 3.0 only because I wanted to stay Jailbroken. Since I had already upgraded to 3.1 at one time, the baseband was upgraded. That caused a problem using pwnage with 3.1. It jailbroke the phone but I could not make calls on it so I had to downgrade.

I have an iPhone 3G and I did upgrade to 3.1. However, it broke tethering and didn't do anything for us if you read the notes. It's all for the 3GS. I hated 3.1 since i didn't have tethering so i successfully downgraded back 3.0.1 and am never going back. In total, it's not worth it.

Right now I am still on 3.0.1 (for tethering) - however I can't do any development work on it unless I downgrade to 3.0 or upgrade to 3.1. There does not appear to be an SDK lib for 3.0.1.

:(

DITTO. I'll keep my 3.01, thanks.

I have a 3G and I have yet to upgrade to 3.1 because of all the problems I've heard about. I'm going to wait for a more stable release.

Exactly. 3.0 works fine for me.

I haven't upgraded yet because I'm jailbroken, but even if I weren't I'd probably be a bit hesitant to do so after hearing the horror stories. 3.0.1 is working just fine for me and I have MMS and tethering, so I'm fine with waiting. :)
