Been using eSIM since launch day of my 13 Pro Max last year, since AT&T phones (not sure about other carriers) shipped without a SIM in the tray. Converting to eSIM was simple and painless, and to be honest, I've never even noticed since.
 
Currently using eSIM on my 13 Pro, since launch day last year. It activated immediately and flawlessly when I set up the phone and I haven't even thought about it since then, no problems.
 
One benefit of eSIM that doesn’t get talked about is ensuring you have the latest SIM card. In the days of physical SIM cards people would never update them and older SIM card can impact coverage and features.
 
Yeah, its like when they got rid of the floppy disk on the iMac. So my boss hands me a Word document on a floppy, what am I supposed to do?
Now floppy I would laugh, but CD/DVD isn't that ancient to have removed it. There's not even a CD player in our car.
