Head Tracking, focal point?

I like head tracking with Spatial Audio on AirPods when watching a movie. On Apple TV or iPad, I presume it works out where the screen is with bluetooth or wifi, it centres your head tracking around the device. What if you have a projector and the Apple TV is behind you when looking at the screen?

Just the gyroscope and lots of maths. Very clever indeed.

iPhone and AirPods have gyro and motion sensors and I'm sure they both need to detect motion to work out the positioning.
