I guess you would rather wait through the night in order to be first to get the iphone than just waiting and ordering one online if they sell out? Is the price to pay your dignity by any chance?

AT&T store has parking spots right by the front door. I plan on staying in the car until people start showing up..I have been burned before and waited to long for this to happen again. I will be watching movies and cleaning up my Itunes library. Good Times

Where Im waiting is not an Apple Store....Infact my local apple store is not allowing lines anytime tom but would rather have a mad dash at 6pm...No thank you. First in line = First out the door. Trust me I would rather not stand in line but better safe than sorry

Why do you need this phone so bad? Is it really worth 20 hours of waiting just to be the first in line? You're like that guy at the 5th avenue store. Take a deep breath and look at this in perspective, you're going to leave your wife at home just to wait for a phone that will be in stock online either way.

My wife is the one telling me to wait in line tonight. I dont really have an arguement with you. I see your point, but as stated I would rather be closer to first in line. Thanks for the advice though.

Why can't you just let him wait in line? If you don't want to wait don't, if he does let him without having to get slack from others. Him waiting in line doesn't effect your life at all so what is the problem?

Because its people like him waiting that would make the iphone easier for all to get into a madhouse of people dashing to wait in line. Whatever happened to getting something without waiting in line...

I waited in line for a Wii, too. I was #5 and there were 15 in line. The store got 20. Worst 6 hours of my life.

So what your saying is that it make more sense and is safer to have a pushing contest at 6pm than to let someone wait in line if they want to? And does this apply to all lines from now on; so the next time I am at the supermarket or wal-mart I can just push to the front?

Far from it, but in cases like this where the lines start earlier than they have to makes everyone upset.
