There will always be lines when you have something like this, there really isnt any solution; lets say that the Apple stores says "No lines to 10AM on friday morning", then all that would happen is that you would get people lining up to get in the line. I guess my thought is that if people want to wait in line that long its their choice, but that could just be the libertarian in me talking

I'm guessing i'm pissed off because I just don't see people running off in droves to buy a $600 dollar phone, and when people don't pay my word any heed it tends to make me a little mad. No offense to anybody.

Actually the sarcasm was kinda missing. I would have made a similar reply. All the people on the forums getting pissed because "too many people are getting the phone" or "oh god you're getting an iphone for your kid?" need to learn to drop their elitism.
