I just went to download Soundsource but unfortunately there is this note "Note: SoundSource is not currently compatible with Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion)."

Well, I know I'm rehashing a long dead thread... But recently upgraded from my 2008 Mac Pro to a slightly modified/massaged 5,1. And tonight while working on some assignments for my Master degree I realized my front headphone jack didn't work, and the rear worked, but had some sub par sound quality. After finding this thread I downloaded the latest version (5) of Soundsource... and now all is good... and I think I will be purchasing the liscense...cause why not support something that makes a great computer even more enjoyable??!! And it's not that expensive either... Thanks again to those that recommended/mentioned this great software.
