The health app really is a step backwards. I use the app every day to get a quick summary of various metrics from a variety of apps (withings, garmin connect, strava)

Now that they have gotten rid of the dashboard, and the summary only gives you todays data, I have to dig though to find the graphs and I can only view one graph at a time

I started a thread when the first Public Beta came out on the health app being awful now. I use the results portion of it to track my blood sugar levels, before it was really easy to get to from the main page of Health Kit App, now its just painful and cumbersome to navigate through it. Way too many steps to get to the page where I want to input my meter results into my phone.

I sent feedback when it first came out but Apple did not respond to it.

Can someone post a few pics of the health app? I didn't know this was a change, as I've only been using iOS 10 on my Air 2. I thought iOS 10 was suppose to improve the health app, as WatchOS 3 improves the activity/workout apps.

would like to see this as well. I too have only installed the beta on my iPad but enjoy the dashboard view in the current Health app of iOS 9. I hope at least the activity app is improved in iOS 10.

I used to check the health app daily...now I can't be bothered to click through everything to find what I'm looking for. It feels like Apple is stepping away from the simplicity they once all about.

I'm conflicted as to the new layout in health. For one thing I like how it's categorize now in that I choose the category in question and see the latest data point for each available type but I understand that it does take some getting used to specially when on iOS 8/9 I could choose the info I wanted displayed. Also love that I can more easily view by data all data.

Its absolutely horrendous. I updated yesterday to B6 and the health app is now worthless to me. 5 extra steps to do what dashboard would do.

It's like they are becoming more like MS And Windows.

I won't upgrade over this. It's too damn useful how it is.

Funny that I almost always 'roll my eyes' (like your Avatar) when I see people saying how the new version of a software sucks and they like it the old way. However this time I'm right there. Actually I like the improvements if it ONLY still had the Dashboard.

LOL, I'm usually the same way. Yes, why take out the most useful feature? I really don;t get some of their decisions. Especially with this new health focus, why make it LESS useful?

Out of curiosity are your sodium intakes accurate? Even eating all non processed foods and not adding any salt it seems it would still be hard to be that low. I'm a bit of an outlier. I have never liked the taste of salt and avoid it in excess because I dislike it. Even avoiding it because of taste I still average close to 2 g a day.

Yep. I track everything I eat. I eat very little processed foods and even the ones I do- sodium free peanut butter, sodium free bread - all have very low to no sodium.

You might eat a lot more calories than I do.

Probably since I'm kind of an extreme athlete and consume about 3300 kcal a day to maintain weight/(sicking) body fat. I'm also obsessively obsessive about monitoring complete caloric ins, BMR and cardio burn records. I actually have spreadsheets going back to 2004 of every cardio workout (weight training about 8 years). I have only been meticulously monitoring my diet for about 6 years.

Just oddly I have always disliked salty tasting foods.

Wow, that is it. I eat about 1600-1700 per day.

I must say that's impressive tracking - well done.

I agree with you to an extent. I don't like the 'Health Data' page but I do like the today screen. I like how minimal it is but if you want in depth hour by hour information, just click on it. I wish they would make the Today screen the default screen,

I was wondering a lot about the Health app and the data produced/recorded by Apple themselves.
Activity - taken care of with the sensors in Apple Watch and in iPhone.
Mindfulness - Breathe app on Apple Watch
Sleep - Bedtime section in Clock app
Nutrition - will Apple do something to make the data autofill? Obviously third party equipment is available, but can Apple do something to make it theirs? As I said in another post, the videos being hidden might hold clues to something we don't know yet.
