What about the supposed iPhone SE 2 and all the other stuff that's being rumored?

The iPad needs a healthy time frame allotted to it. If they refresh this with A13X, what will they speak at the Keynote after the TOF slide? Apple is going to spend 10-15 mins talking on the A13 at the presentation.

The iPad wasn't costing $1k plus in those times either. And there was huge scope for improvement in every model. Nowadays its all incremenatal.

Pretty clear it's not happening this year. March/April is where I'd put my money on at this point - so about a 5 month wait.

It will have to be soon be that this year or by March next year. Photoshop for iPad comes out in November and you will struggle to do anything useful with 4Gb of RAM.
