Cheers. Its just a shame that I had to resort to doing an OS reinstall to fix it. Just made me think of Windows. I've only been a Mac user for a few years, but after Starting out on Jaguar I think I've had a total of 3 kernel panics and no OS installs apart from the release of Panther and Tiger. That said the Archive and Install is far less destructive than any Windows re-install I've ever done and the machine was back up and running with all its NFS mounts and LDAP stuff about 40 mins after I popped in the Tiger DVD. Sweet.
