In any case, I would call Applecare. Like its been said, the worst they can say is "no."

It wasnt that it was wrapped in blankets that shocked them, it was the bright red lipstick on the case that made them go :eek: ;) :D

I'm the same, I take real pride & joy from my macs, however I often have to update and repair a friends mac, and he is totally the oposite. I had to clean paint and mud from his powermac the other day before i even booted it... :( Thats just not right.....
