Help! Night shots w/ Rebel XTi.

$1k on camera, cards, and batt (lenes were hand-me-downs from my dad) and I can't take a sunset, MY FRAKING PHONE can do that. Needless to say, I was a little angry.

The camera is a tool, what it produces is up to the photographer. Don't blame the device for your ignorance of how to use it.

I should probably say that I was annoyed then. When I got home I realized that I shouldn't have been complaining. The shots came out great! Turns out that My laptop+linux= wrong colors. It also turns out that XTi+ Rear Display= Wrong colors. On a calibrated display at home however, they looked great. I got this camera because my previous one was holding me back. By that I mean that I could compose a great shot, set everything up, and click the shutter and the camera decides to suck.

To sum it up: Hated camera in Alaska (it was cold, and I was living on a boat).
Love it now.
