I know and the seller anwered my question quite fast... but I mean, on the apple store a imac i7 2.93 with 2tb and 256gb and 16gb ram would cost a LOT more than that...

What the!!?!

I don't need a computer right now, but I sooo want this. Sounds too good to be true. Yeah, what's the catch?

This is epic. Why an AU eBay while the item is in Florida? Stolen?

Looks suspect to me, and a possible eBay account been hacked. They have already sold 9, with over 10 left for sale, Mmmmm

Are hacked ebay accounts common?

Either the account is hacked or the machine was purchased with stolen credit cards, or some other method of laundering money using a work at home scam.

These days quite common on eBay.

Well I did click the "Buy now" button. But hadn't paid for it. Now the item is gone. Not even showing up in my "Awaiting payment" screen on my account.

Whats up with that? I guess it was a scam indeed.

It never ceases to amaze me how the "There is no free lunch" rule is valid every single time.

SCAM :)

I just received this:

Hi XXX,

I have problem with my PayPal account. We will make the deal with eBay Buyer/Seller Protection Program. eBay will contact us over the email with invoices. In the way that we make the deal you will receive first the iMAC and have 7 days available to check and to decide if you keep it or not. You'll understand more after eBay contact u.I am glad making business with u.
Please give me a reply after eBay contact u.

I told him I wanted to do a bank transfer and see if he falls in the trap (most likely not)
