Anyone know the word on "dim to black" tweak? I thought I saw that it was 6.0 compatible but doesn't seem to work at all for me, thx all.

App Monitor

This one may be so obvious. I apologise.

I need an App/Tweak that can let me view a list of running apps/functions and show me how much RAM they are using. Possibly with the option of terminating.

At the moment, something in my phone is instantly guzzling away at the free RAM. I need to see who's doing what.

I can free everything up, and it just happens again really quickly.

Hope someone can help an idiot out, here.

What it does: Turns off badge on stock Settings app to alert you there's a new update to the OS.

Bugs the h*** out of me.

And yes, I have searched this thread but I didn't see anything. Maybe I'll try Google. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: It's called Software Update Killer - it's a tweak only 4.5K in size and automatically runs in background without any user intervention. There's also OTA Begone and noOTA, but they're apps.

You don't need those because the jailbreak already does it for you..

Hey, thanks, but once again, forgive my ignorance and naivete but isn't that a large developer tool that I'd download from Apple.com on to Mac OS?

I'm actually really looking for a tweak or an app that just sits on my iPhone 4S either in settings or as an icon, and I can go there to see how much size each app and tweak takes up on my phone's storage and also how much RAM each is currently using, possibly as a live list (most RAM at the top and so-on downwards).

I know it's possible to very basically go into settings and ONLY see a list of the regular apps on your phone and the size they are, but I'm looking for something as I've described in the last paragraph.

I hope someone reads this and helps me out. :)

Back on 5.x I used to use SysInfoPlus, but it hasn't been updated since iOS 3/4, I forget. It's also not on many public repos, but I think it does exactly what you want, as I used to find out how much RAM was used with that iirc.

There was a tweak in cydia, that would convert a safari homescreen web page into an app, which would run on it's own and not in Safari...Does anyone know the name of this tweak? I have searched all over google for it. Thanks.

Hey, thanks Neo-Tech. I'm trying this out, and it's almost there as far as what I'm looking for. I know that sounds ungrateful, but not at all, thank you so much. It's kind of you to reply. I will say, though, and I've clearly no right to be fussy, but it's a little convoluted perhaps. A hell of a lot going on with the info scattered quite wildly, rather than collated in a neat list for each tweak/app/activity with a tidy appearance/front-end for the user to view.
I'll run with it for now anyway. I need something. There's a monster on my phone that's swallowing my RAM right up again just as soon as it's cleared.

Maybe there's a more recent app that does what I'm talking about? Does anyone know of anything?

Oddly, I can't believe that people aren't screaming out for this sort of thing. After jailbreaking an iPhone and then piling tweaks into a handset, this is the first thing I'd ever want in order to keep an eye with what's going on with all the tweaks and apps. It seems essential.

Apart from the obvious rude gestures in reply, does anybody else have a suggestion they can give me?

Is there a tweak that gets rid of the shading in the search page? I liked it better in the early days of the iPad where it wasn't shaded, so that I could go to that search page, close the keyboard, and get an uninstructed view of my wallpaper.

Which tweak shows you a messages bubble in the status bar when someone is composing an iMessage to you?

I guess nobody can help me any further with my last request ?

Well, other than that, all I'm looking for is a kind of 'time-machine' app/tweak.

Basically, anything that can make a backup of the entire phone (as much as that is possible) to be able to roll back to, if things get messed-up.

I've been using PKGBackup, but that doesn't seem to be working out for me.

Is there anything better out there?

Also, still looking for the tweak RAM monitor, I mentioned above.

Thanks in advance.

Closest you're gonna get to a full backup is an iCloud or iTunes backup. Unjailbroken this would be a full image backup. Use pkgbackup or whatever backup option you choose for backing up your Cydia apps. You're not going to get anything to do both.

Springtomize 2 lets you backup quite a large amount of layout/springboard related stuff, and saves it so if you ever rejailbreak the settings will still be there.

Does anyone know what the name of the clock widget is or any that are similar? I would ideally like to find one that doesn't spell out the time.

Its called Epiq iWidget

Thanks, but i'd like to hide the text, and don't want to change LS slider theme. My LS slider theme is finally ok, just the text is annoying.
