If I contacted Apple and asked for a quick tour, do you think they would let me go on one?

My family just got 3 free tickets round trip because the airline sucks and made them sleep in the terminal overnight. I maaayyyy be able to talk my mom into going to SF with me, heading down to Cupertino, so I can sneak a peek at Apple HQ. (pictures next to EVERYTHING!! "here's me next to the sign. Here's me next to the sign, holding my PowerBook. Here's me next to the (same) sign, holding my iPod. Here's me, still by the same sign, holding my iPod 3G, Shuffle, and PowerBook. Here's me pointing at the sign. Here's me sitting on the sign. ...for every single sign.)

i am so upset, I was there 2 years ago and didn't know they had a store there. I snapped a bunch of pics too. I made my dad drive 2 hours out of the way just to stand outside the building!!!

Why aren't you smiling in this picture? This is a once in a lifetime experience (well maybe that's a little over kill but humor me)....or were you disappointed

Okay, seriously though, I'm getting nervous at the prospect of having to approach somebody at HQ. I mean, I haven't gotten stellar service from Apple employees thus far into my Apple buying... so I really am nervous...

But I guess if more people say they'll go and whatnot...

I'm not even sure if I'll be able to go. I have to wait until my mom, bro, and nephew get home. (they're in detroit right now)
I don't really have any reason to go to california. If I could snag a tour of Apple HQ, that would totally cinch the deal.

Well, I can't say enough about the staff at the "Mother Ship" at 4th and Market! Great crew there!. They even took pity on a hapless traveler with a hotel with internet and no printer, and got me my boarding passes printed for my return back to DC!

Once I get the chance, I will post a couple of shots from inside the "Mother Ship".

For us mere mortals, I refer to the "Mother Ship" as being the Apple Store at 4th and Market. I may be a "MacHead", but I was unwilling to take a better part of my day to visit the "Home Planet".

Interestingly, there are shirts being sold at the Company Store at HQ that disagree w/ you. They're black t's w/ white font that says, "I've been to the Mother Ship."

Damn you, knew that I should have gotten one of those City Share Xb's and gone down there! Well the next trip in February (maybe). Think I have decided on two or three trips a year to SF....

LOL. Not sure yet. My dance card is getting pretty full with places to see and things to do. Just read about a hill in the Castro District that offers some great 360 views of the San Francisco skyline. Might go up there at sunset/dusk for some great picture opportunities. Also want to photograph the Fog City Diner at night (hopefully with some fog ).

I do plan on trying to hit the "mother" store in downtown SF though.

For amazing views of the city, head to Coit Tower. Also awesome views of the bay and Oakland.

Apple Campus Visit

So I'm gonna visit the campus for the first time on the 9th! lots of people have been asking about the company store and the campus itself so I figured I would contribute by attaching photos of the campus and store, let me know if you want some information on getting a tour, I can ask! I will be applying for a Corporate job after college, and I know somebody that works for Corporate HR, that was my ticket in! Hope All y'all nerds like me get to visit at one point, should be awesome!!!!!!

I always imagined Apple HQ would be a giant upside down glass pyramid floating in the center of a big loop. Not to forget the ninja army of The Most High patrolling the grounds for intruders.
