I don't know.. how about a full HD 1080p screen?

well here is some info for you

306 ppi vs 441 ppi 135 more ppi
1280x720 hd vs 1920x1080 full hd

gs4 is also brighter, better colors and better battery life over the gs3 screen and it also get gorilla glass 3 and a jump from 4.8 to 5.0 inches

You can also change between color profiles for the display to make it duller (what iPhone users call more "accurate").

Wow, that's really very big improvements over the S III! Thanks for all the info! :)

Fraternal twins

If that is fraternal then these would be considered identical (actually, they are). ;-) Same design for going on year 5? Seems a bit lacking in design? Or they can't think of any other way to make a phone? At least I can look at a Note 2, SIII or S4 and be able to tell what they.

Are you seriously going to say the iPhone 5 looks like the 4S/4. I mean seriously...you're actually going to say that...with a straight face?

Oh by the way i can also differentiate between a 4S and a 4 if we're going to play it like that.

Why not just say the 4 looks like a 3GS/3G too while you're at it. After all they're both rectangular touchscreen slabs with curved edges. We can even go further back to the first iPhone too. Same rectangular touchscreen slab. Oh it also has metal and glass like the iPhone 5 so they're actually twins separated at birth.

Meanwhile Samsung has been innovating with its designs since the original Galaxy...which looks NOTHING like the iPhone 3G of course.

Here's my take on why the S4 is "lacklustre". It doesn't look much different to the S3 and that's all people care about, the looks. It doesn't matter how much better it is inside, people want others to instantly know they have an S4 just by looking. People called the 3GS and the 4S "lacklustre" but the iPhone 4 was "amazing" because it had a new design.

Your right, you can. The iPhone has the same front face since it came out in 2007 and that is what the original comment was looking at when he said the GS4 was identical to the GS3.

No this is exactly what apple sheep do and they could care less about what the inside is all about.

android users will buy the gs4 for its guts and hardware and run custom kernels and roms on it taking advantage of the next gen hardware in it.

someone in one thread, might even of been this one called siri a main upgrade to the 4s when that very same software can run just fine on an iphone 4

for some reason some people here would of rather had a radical looking new phone with the same exact hardware with a minor spec bump because that is what you are all used to.

for some reason if Samsung made the cell look like a Ferrari and made out of carbon fiber but shared the exact same specs as the s3 but clocked 100 MHz faster you would all praise the hell out of it,but Samsung being the first company to use arms cortex purebred a15 cores is nothing and gets over shadowed by the fact that a Samsung galaxy phone shares resemblance to a galaxy phone from the past,I mean it is a galaxy s phone for gods sake. What exactly did you people want the phone to look like?
let me say it again, this is next gen arch in the gs4

The only person i care about that knows i have a GS4 is me. And im not going to run out right away to get one either. The only reason im for getting a GS4 is because of the LTE i will get on T-Mobile. My GS3 dont have it.

Im not one of those who thinks it is prestige to have the latest and greatest.

I can too but if I see someone on the streets with a S4 I wouldn't know if it was a S3 unless you have a S3 right next to it and i'm staring hard at it. The design is almost the same as the S3. I was going to get a S4 but after i saw the design wasn't that much different and they didn't move from plastic; also the features were mostly gimmicky I'll rather wait and see what Apple brings to the table.

iPhone 5S will easily kick S4's... Apple is nice enough to be giving Samsung 2 months (May and June) for the Galaxy S4 before the iphone 5S is going to be launched. But then, I am still not so sure if S4 will meet their own sales expectation, because carriers in Canada and many other countries have already slashed the contract price for iPhone 5... Making it more attractive at only $99 on 3-yr contract

It's a half-baked product, definitely rushed. Samsung is just taking advantage of the slow sales period just a couple of months before the next generation iPhone is about to be unveiled.

Must troll harder.

Why is everyone bring this into just a samsung is crap v the iphone in the alternatives to ios section? Cant you guys grow up?

Success of the iPhone 5S will depend on iOS 7. If the next major software update is similar to that of iOS 6, the S IV will kick the iPhone 5S instead.

Let's see what Apple can deliver this year.
