Here's why you need a Contacts App

sure i'll bet you on it. my original post was a year ago.....roll back to that software and you'll see you can't add/modify via the contact button......that's why they had the contact app.

There's been no confirmation that that was the reason that the Contacts app was created.

It just happened to work that way.

I use contacts a lot. Mostly because when I open my Phone app it brings me to Recent or Favorites most of time. It's easier to just open Contacts for me.

I like having the contacts app there, for example when someone tells me a phone number or other details.

It always irritated me (but only a little bit, it's not like I'm Mr Angry!!! ) to have to open the phone app first
