Hermès Edition Owners Thread

I was debating bxn the blue and the rogue H color (too early in the morning and I’m unfamiliar with rogue H on the regular H) but it looks a bit Bordeaux / dark purple?

stuck with the blue.

let’s hope irl it’s as accurate on photo. I’m excited.

The woven don't seem as in demand as the leather as I was able to put in an order for the orange woven after I put in the fauve attelage Barénia order that slipped from 15 Oct to mid November while I was in the middle of the order.

You know what … I think you‘re still ahead. Comparing the pictures from the Store/Bandbreite apps, the new Lime doesn‘t really look like the old Lime. Swift instead of Epson, much less pronounced grain, and the colour … doesn‘t seem quite so creamy. Maybe someone (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) will be crazy enough to compare both versions IRL.

What was your impression of the Hermes nylon band? Surprised to read others feel it's quite comfortable. It's nice that's it's waterproof, but leather can be waterproof too . . . sort of. In my limited experience with leather some leather after getting soaked just needs to dry out and it's fine, while for some leather it changes after it gets wet.

I thought Apple's nylon was awful, very uncomfortable, at least initially. I couldn't take it so I returned it, but Apple reps say the discontinued Apple nylon got better with use.

I never bought one. It just not my taste. I buy Hermes for the softness and craftmanship of their leather goods. So i stick to their leather bands. I have my eye on the Circuit Biscuit for my SBSS series 7 rouge circut/noir. I really wanted that rouge circuit/noir band and was so happy they offered it with the SBSS. But i do want another band, so I think Biscuit will be my choice as I really like the pattern on it plus the matching watch face!
 
It's interesting that they are selling stainless steel Hermes watches with bands with space black links and vice versa now.
 
Weird, I can get Gold swift for 15 Oct, everything is in November or not available.

Well I have been away from my desk for awhile (had to work lol) and randomly checked my order that i did from phone (without my readers on) to confirm its was for Fri del (it is). Just realised I ordered the gold rather than the Fauve - Is there a lot of difference you think? Not a show stopper for me and not going to cancel, just wondering if anyone had seen one in the wild or had one?

It‘s a completely new color. Looks a little lighter than Fauve.

you can't find the colors Navy, Noir because they have the same product code
so they are the same product maybe created in recent months, but I have my doubts (Navy docet)
