Any particular reason why you want to go this route? Not all Hermes stores carry the Apple Watch, though an SA at any Hermes store can likely order one for you. Hermes isn't known to get items on a specific release day so there is no guarantee that they will have any in stock yet. Also, Hermes doesn't deal with customer service on tech items very well. It will be a nightmare if something goes wrong with the purchase and Hermes does not give refunds, only store credit. Hermes also does not do trade ins. If you do not have an existing SA relationship at an Hermes store, I strongly recommend you order it via the Apple online store.

I am lucky enough to live near an Hermès store, but I've read a few reports on the Kilim being flimsy/hard to insert into the loops/etc. which gives me pause. I've never had any issues with the leather/woven bands, though, which has me leaning towards the Gold/Écru Toile H.

I only have a Hermès Series 8 because of SS Space Black. Can‘t believe that they dropped Black. But the Jet Black on the aluminum version looks great, so i will soon be an ex-Hermès owner. 😬

I have store credit at the South Coast store, and they typically do carry the watch. Should cut my purchase cost in half, maybe even cut it by 2/3. I do have a number for an SA but haven’t contacted him in a year or so. I’ll try that route and just call later this week if I can’t get a response. Thanks!

Appointments aren't even necessary. If you don't care who you work with, I would just show up at the store whenever is convenient for you and shop with whomever is available. I would also wait to visit until the watches are available on h.com, which should be long before release day but you never know. Worst case the SA can order the watch for you from the online store directly delivered to your home.
That’s probably why the band on my orange one tore because I was shoving it into the little holder on the band and I probably was too rough with it because it hasn’t happened to any of the other ones I have. However, I was not happy with at all with Apple’s Customer Service on it because they wouldn’t do anything for it and I had a really difficult time trying to deal with Hermes on the phone and they told me I just had to go into the store, which I never have because I’ve been having a lot of health issues issues and haven’t been able to get there. So that was a big reason why I didn’t buy the spring releasE Kimlm bands, and I wasn’t as active on the forum as I usually am.
Béton is available as a background color option in many faces now though.

Lack of Space Black really kills me but I’ve been working towards getting bands for having a potential Ultra as a second watch anyway and already have options that wouldn’t look good on SBSS like the Orange Kilim. Would have to change a bunch of bands back to silver hardware after doing SBSS swaps which is disappointing but it’ll be nice to change things up now I suppose.

They’re giving people what they want after years of strange choices. Lots of folks wanted something like SBSS but didn’t want to pay Hermès prices so there’s Jet Black! Gold has returned! Titanium colored Link Bracelet that’ll go perfect with the Ultra! Hermès Ultra!
Hermès barely made any bands with black hardware and they clearly didn’t sell that well so here we are.
It looks like Hermes is getting its own shade of titanium. That appears to be the difference this year.
Isn't Ti naturally silver? That means Apple has been coloring their Ti 'natural'. I can't recall if the Edition was natural or silver, though.

Amazing find! I like the Hapi and it looks like it may be available in 45/46mm size based on the bottom photo, but we shall see.
