There is not one Kilim in any colour for the 45/6mm in the UK at Apple or Hermes.
The Kilim’ have to the band with the highest profit margin, it’s very surprising that it’s not more readily available. I’m after the Bleu De France myself, and I’m checking for availability everyday.

Y’all with a dark color Apple Watch like graphite, jet black or black Apple Watch Ultra 2 or green Apple Watch Series 7 that’s a perfect color combo if you need the Kilim.
The links in the noir Kilim are also black? Matching up with the jet black aluminum AW? If yes, I would get that combo. The ion glass is more clear than sapphire, but sapphire is more scratch resistant. Jet black looks very close to Space Black. Jet looks a little more wet slick than Space Black

Agreeable. The green and black look great on these models. Jet black is like SBSS but without the stainless steel. It would make more sense if Apple used a sapphire screen and added a scratch resistant coating on the jet black so it can be like the space black… we miss the darkest color of the Apple Watch in stainless steel. But Apple had to do it like the iPhone 7 as they phased out stainless steel in favor of the lighter slimmer cases.

I can’t stop admiring this band. Apple or Hermes need to do a restock so I can buy more colors 😍
looks great! great colour too. interesting though - you workout with the kilim? I know it's rubber but I never have. Something about it being with the deployment buckle makes me not want to. But do others work out with it?

Not OP but I have worked out with it. I find that the Kilim on me is flush against my skin at the buckle, but it's looser between the watch and my wrist.

It's comfortable enough but the watch has trouble measuring my heart rate unless I move the watch about a centimeter up along my wrist.

I must admit I have never worked out in my Kilim. It probably would be ok, but I feel that I have enough £50 sports bands lying around, so why risk wearing out the £300 one I love wearing :)

EDIT: And is as rare as rocking horse do do :p

Comfortable band , why not ? I rotate a lot of bands during workouts however depending on my fit.

Question for those of you who have swapped the deployment buckle from your Kilim to leather bands : how? 😅

Hermes has zero 46mm watches or Kilim bands listed on their website! Heh. Great marketing. They know how to create a need!
Neither does Apple. That is just baffling. How hard can it be to make the Kilim bands. Seems like this happens every year and really poor planning. In this day and age no excuses for it.

You have a product, it is selling, I guess well, so stock up. Can’t be that hard.

We might be overestimating how much importance our beloved Kilims are in either company's business plan and bottom line. Decisions like production runs are made many months in advance. From a normal business plan, you'd likely see a new production run with some delay. Mix in high luxury and who knows, maybe they like it this way 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s marketing bro. Create a need; make product scarce ; sell tons of product When re-introduced.

Happens every year though with the Hermes stuff, so should be better than that.

And for the other poster above, I doubt they are selling tons of Hermes product compared to the normal Apple Watches. For all the business meetings I have with Execs, I have seen one with a Hermes AW, even though I think they are great! 🙂

This is Apple. They can definitely plan much better. You should never have an unavailable as a date. That is not creating demand. As this is a commodity and people will just move on to another AW or lose interest. Not like we are talking Rolex, Omega, etc.. lol

Hermes is an ultra-luxury fashion brand. While I hate not having product availability like everyone else here, I believe this is their plan. The first production batch was limited to create hype and demand, just like everything else with their logo on it. I'm confident more Hermes bands will become available, but probably not for another month or so (just my opinion based on previous years).

My fingers are crossed for everyone to get what they want as soon as possible.

I get the Hermes availability shortage stuff, a bit, but it annoys me as well.

What I don't get is Apple turning the Silver SS watch into an exclusive Hermes item (SS Ti), THEN making it unavailable to folks even if they are willing to pay the Hermes Tax. They've turned a main staple into something that is nearly unobtainable. For those of us that bought Apple bands with Silver lugs, it a real gut punch.

And regarding the Hermes Kilims, I did managed to get 3 this year, including the new Bleu de France. They are nice bands, but I may just get the other colors I want off Aliexpress. I'm not going to play the Apple/Hermes "hunt and hope" game.

On the bright side, Apple saved me some $$$ this year.

All this anger and frustration directed at Apple and Hermes. Why? Wonder how folks would handle real life crisis issues?

If I don’t acquire the Kilim Bleu de France, then it’s not meant to be. From my perspective, checking every day is stressful.

Seriously??? People discussing how they don't like how Apple/Hermes are handling their product availability, means they wouldn't be able to "handle real life crisis"?

People here have a lot of Apple products. Obviously the folks in this thread like Apple/Hermes products, and we state that often. It's ok, to also discuss things that we don't like or find frustrating. To "wonder how folks would handle real life crisis issues", because we/they discuss both positive and negative Apple/Hermes aspects, is very perplexing.

It’s very hard to really judge how passionate people feel since we are not talking to each other directly in real life. Throughout the Macrumors forums, some individuals regard Apple as letting them down, as if Apple is in a quasi parent role and they are being let down in some way. That tone or perspective is usually absent from the Hermes sub forum, which is all to the good on my opinion. I get the sense that people who purchase the Hermes option may be older and maturity may benefit our discussion. Alternatively they may have more disposable income, which in turn may also be age and/or career related.

Anger, frustration, not at all, personally I’m retired and Apple bands, including Hermes bands is for me, a hobby and passion, I’m at 135 Bands including 25 Hermes bands and 4 Apple Watches. I am checking availability almost daily because I know that when they’re back in stock, they will sell out quickly. That said I wanted the Rouge Kilim for a long time, this week I bought one that was brand new for 30% off list price.
Isn’t that why we’re on this Forum, because we love the watches and the bands.
