At 85% Apple will not do anything, that is true.

If I look at your picture, this looks like normal wear ant tear microscrathes. I have it too on my watches. I sometimes polish them with "Cape Cod" polishing cloth and get them shiny again. "Cape Cod" removes an incredible amount of scratches on steel surfaces.
The damage I was talking about is the dent next to the speaker (?) cutout. It wasn’t there until the watch depot got their hands on it.

Happy to report I’m very familiar with Cape Cod!

I get a dark blue steady ring with orange inscription with "always on" in both variants of that watchface.
Your version additionally is much too bright for an inactive "always on" display. Strange...
Hmm suddenly the orange border is gone in always on mode.
I’m not sure what is triggering it.
Does that happen to you?

Same - just realised the orange border for the AOD is gone. I actually prefer it this way though, it’s less glaring
I personally love it.

But I only noticed it in the past day or two did you have that orange border for a long time?

I also downloaded the new iOS watch beta. I wonder if it’s related to that??

I only got the AWU3 last week so I only noticed it was gone today, and that's after I updated my phone to 26.5.2 (or whatever version it is now). My watch isn't on any beta though still running watchOS26. I reckon this was rolled out somehow with the phone update?
