As for ranged. Valla, Nova, Keal'Thas, Jaina, Nazeebo those are my picks. However, Naz is a specialist, so he is a bit different than the rest of the assassins. If he is farmed on line, he will be extremely painful in the late game. Most critical for that is level one talent which improves his passive(every minion kill gives permanent 5 hp and 3 mana).
