and to Restore all I do is plug in my iPod, and simply click Restore? Like I don't have to prepare ahead and save anything, it will automatically sync everything again to put it back to normal?

gah...i wanna change my background, i downloaded some "abstract wallpaper pack" but i don't know how to "open" it on the ipod

you have to download winterboard if you want themes. to show and just got into wallpaper i think for the ones your downloaded..

But if you want your wallpaper to show behind your icons you will have to download winterboard then choose user wallpaper and it will show up

i see, i'll download winterboard and play around with it later, i've wasted too much time right now on this...

Well I finished breaking, and I've had a day to play around. I followed the step by step post on page one and had no problems. It's definitely worth it, and the more I tinker the more I find that I like.

My only real complaint would be that there is so much available that isn't 'native.' a lot of what I want to try would require using a computer with net access. But I don't even keep my computer at home. I'm one of the rare birds that does everything on my iPhone. I hope to see that become easier or more accessible as the dev community grows.

But really that's a selfish and unjustified 'complaint.' Its definitely worth it. And it was VERY easy!

If you install Categories, you should empty your folders first. Otherwise, you'll likely ecounter the Apple Logo of Death, and have to start over again.
