Hey Tim C.! how the heck do I change the volume level on my new $4000 iMac while I'm in bed!!!

Call me crazy but I'd say get out of bed and change the volume.

Did you come up with that work-around all by yourself or did you get help from Apple?

Agreed. Desktop form factor machines weren't intended to be used while lying in bed.. that's what an iPad is for. Just saying.

It required a support ticket at Apple, including increasing the priority. Not until I emailed T. Cook did I get any information on this to help out

Oh, i'm sure you can spend that much, I think a Maxed out Mini is $2600 USD.

I just don't take iMacs seriously.

The Logitech gaming mouse I mentioned above in reply 47 will do the job, and more.

Purchased the $30 Mira IR sensor and software. Should arrive any day. I will report back on it's usefulness. I'll check out some of these other great (if not late) suggestions if it does not cut the cheese!
