Yes, you're right.. Is only about 50 dollar difference in iPad 4 air 256GB and iPad Pro 128GB..

I do think 64gb will be enough but if I download more apps in the future..I don't want to be feeling limited...

But if I decide to go 256GB on iPad Air...would it be better to just go iPad Pro 128GB ?
This is the same process I went through just a month ago. I purchased the 11" iPad Pro. I've been completely satisfied with it. No second thoughts whatsoever. Don't overlook that the Pro has better display tech (ProMotion), much better speakers, much better cameras + flash and Lidar, and FaceID which is terrific on the iPad.

As long as you know what you're doing with the Apple ecosystem it will all be well with what you choose

iPad Air is a perfect device for a first hand experience with tablets such

DRAWING? I think I saw that you
I'm about to buy the new iPad Air.

Planning to use it for second monitor, Logic Remote, and want to also try out drawing animation ( not a pro or anything at animation I just want to try out.. I don't know much about this field yet..)

Will this be a good choice ? and any other tips for first buyer who doesn't know much about tablets ?..

Also I'll be buying the 64gb with no cellular because I'll be using it almost at home only...

What do you think ?

Hello! I'd like to mention that you might want the 120hz ProMotion screen if you get more serious about drawing. I have seen some videos which make the drawing "visual feedback" much more satisfying/normal? feeling ON the ProMotion screen.

It's a toss-up though as to 128 gb IPP 11 versus 256 gb iPad Air in my mind, assuming the price is a bit higher on the IPP 11.

1: If you are only casually interested in drawing, iPad Air 4
2: If you are really worried about storage, then whichever has the larger GBs for the relative same price
3: If you are really worried about 10.5 inch screen's supposed inherent issues, then lean towards IPP 11.

Myself, I was planning to buy a 128 gb base model iPad, latest version with the 10.2 screen, because the only thing I was really possibly going to miss on a NEW iPad would be stereo audio output. I was going to not worry about that because I recently was given a pair of AirPods. That would give me the newest iOS, stereo in portrait mode, simple drawing capacity... Good enough for the money.

BUT Christmas surprise: I received an Air 4, 256 gb, wifi only as a gift! Stereo speakers in landscape mode are very nice.

My Ipad Pro 64 Gb is my most used computing device (I also have a Macbook Pro 15" 2017) and I get by fine with 64 Gb. I have my photos in Icloud, I use Dropbox too. I usually have around 20 - 30 Gb on my Ipad.

What I don't have is a lot of apps - I mainly use Safari, Mail and Procreate, beside all the streaming apps. Sometimes I almost fill the storage, and that is when I fill up with movies and tv shows in PlayerXtreme.

As you can see below, it's really just PlayerXtreme that uses alot of space - and I just delete after I've watched the content. Normally at home I just stream from my NAS unit.

I'm not a new Ipad user - and my current Ipad is migrated from years of Ipad use. My last Ipad was a Mini 4 with 128 Gb, I never used any more space than I use now.

Not saying 64 Gb is for everybody, 'cause it's not. But still it is plenty for me!
