I often do Command + Tab and have Photosync running which is always running and is my photo sync tool but I never need to access it. Is it possible to hide it from view? Thanks

Command-Tab shows all apps which are in the Dock, but not those only in the menu bar. Photosync has an option to only be in the menu bar. Photosync > Settings > General tab > "Show application icon in:" - use drop down to choose Menu. And restart Photosync.

What does show in menu mean? I know what dock means which is the bar at the bottom. Also selected show in dock, quit and re-opened and it still shows in Cmd + Tab

It means only show in the menu bar (at top right). It would have been better if the choice had use the word menubar. You need the choice which is menu (bar) only.
Ok understood that but still trying to get it out of showing up in Cmd + Tab

Just to be clear, the preferences should look like this:

Restart Photosync and it does not appear in the Dock and so does not appear in Command-Tab.

Working now - thanks! For some reason when I quit and reopen the On login setting disappears but that's a problem with photo sync, I'll contact the developer

Thanks so much!
