It'll never work when you are actually in Cydia...

It's not only cydia. It's all my app store apps. And Safari and Mail are the only 2 stock apps that still show battery...

***Found more : Health app, calculator, weather, tips and maps.

I opened up all stock apps and these are the ones that don't work with hide battery...

I emailed the developer on the issue.

HideMe8 just had a update 1.0.1-6. Added App Icon Hiding & Added option for custom carrier text.

This update also installed libhide as a dependency of course to hide icons...

Yeah, just got that. Seems to work well. Delighted with this tweak and the updates are flying in. Well worth the money
